A friend of mine once wrote a song which was accepted to be recorded by Connie Francis. He and his co-writer flew over to New York to sort out the publishing, where they were surprised to find new names that they'd never heard of added to the credits. Quelle surprise. I don't think the song ever got released.

This Connie Francis song however was written by the great Neil Sedaka and the lyricist Howard Greenfield. And Connie was, if you didn't know, a huge name in the 50s and 60s with hits such as 'Among My Souvenirs'. And still going now I think.

So here, in my tradition of unlikely songs given a blues rock treatment, is the classic 'Stupid Cupid'. I like it - I think it rocks. Hope you enjoy.
