Mick writes:
Cole Porter's 'Night and Day'. First performed in the musical Gay Divorce by Fred Astaire and Claire Luce in 1932, six years before Robert Johnson would die of poisoning down in Greenwood, Mississippi.
Unusually for the time, Mr. Porter wrote the tune and the words.. talented guy.
So here's a boogied up 'lectric guitar kind of version, which may or may not work according to your taste. I love it actually, and my wife likes it which is usually good. Regardless of the performance or recording at least I know I've got hold of a decent song.
I am finding the tap dancing shoes a little uncomfortable but I'm working on it. Enjoy the music.
